Anyone that may have followed my Previous blog would know that I attempted an Outfit A Day challenge where I made it my goal to go an entire year without repeating the same outfit twice. While the effort that went into it was too time consuming, I did really enjoy the experience so I am thinking of continuing it...kind of.
I won't document every outfit I wear, but I want to post some of my favorites (especially those for special occasions).
Expect more posts from now on. Promise

Cupcake Corner: Magpies Cakes
Anyone that knows me knows that I have a massive sweet tooth, especially when it comes to cute baked goods. And few foods are as cute as the cupcake. Whenever I go to new towns I often find myself looking for bakeries in order to find these adorable creations. Cupcake Corner will just be reviews of places I go and what made them great. First up...
This little gem was located right next to a wonderful little used bookstore (wish I also recommend you check out).
The shop was small and inviting. Right behind the counter was the kitchen, open for all customers to see into. There was even going to be a free cupcake/wine tasting later that evening. Unfortunately, I had to head back home (and I was under 21), but it was such a cute idea that I wish I could have.
I was unsure what flavors to expect so I simply planned on getting my go-to cupcake, red velvet. However, I was greeted by flavors ranging from chocolate to lemon raspberry.
After a few free samples I settled on Chocolate with Vanilla icing and a lemon cupcake. Absolutely perfect. They melted in my mouth and weren't too sweet or heavy. I wish I had gotten more!
Sadly, I don't get to Knoxville often, but I may have to make a few more road trips just to get my cupcake fix. They are worth it.
If you live in/near Knoxville, I highly recommend you take a little trip. Your sweet tooth will thank you.
